COMPLEMENTARY GUESTS

We are grateful for the partnership of our Treasuring Christ Together churches. As a small way of saying thank you, the TCT Network is delighted to offer complimentary lodging, meals, and all other retreat related expenses to churches that are still in happy agreement to the TCT covenant and have given financially to the network in 2025.

This invitation includes:

One elder couple from each church plant
Up to two elder couples from all other members churches

ADDITIONAL GUESTS

In addition to these complimentary offerings, we warmly invite all TCT member church elder couples and special guests of the network to join us for the annual retreat at a discounted rate.

The cost is $655 per individual or $895 per couple. This fee covers lodging for two nights, five meals, and other retreat related expenses. All invoicing for extra attendees must be paid in full by April 1st. Registrations not paid by this date will be cancelled.

During your free time, retreat guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary river cruise along the San Antonio River, as well as a visit to the historic Alamo.

AIRFARE

The network will be providing a $50 per person (up to $100 per church planter and up to $200 per church for all other members) reimbursement towards the cost of airfare.

Please purchase your tickets, and then send receipts for reimbursement using this form no later than April 1st.

PLEASE NOTE: If attendee airfare is purchased using frequent flyer miles or some other promotional offer, the network cannot reimburse these totals per IRS guidelines. Only final dollar amount charges incurred by attendees listed on a receipt may be reimbursed by the network.
TRANSPORTATION TO & FROM THE HOTEL

The San Antonio Airport is about 15 minutes and an 8 mile drive from the Embassy Suites Riverwalk Hotel. Additional cost estimates for attendees are listed below for traveling one way between the San Antonio airport and the Embassy Suites Riverwalk Hotel.

GETTTING AROUND SAN ANTONIO

The Embassy Suites Riverwalk is located directly on the San Antonio Riverwalk, making restaurants, activities, and shopping an easy and pleasant walk from the hotel. As a result, TCT will not be providing a transportation shuttle.

We encourage carpooling, as the hotel parking fee is $55 per day. However, if you are considering renting a car, cost estimates for vehicle rentals are listed below.

Venue Details
Retreat guests will be staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk Downtown, a welcoming all-suite hotel located right on San Antonio’s iconic Riverwalk. Just steps from restaurants, shops, and the scenic riverside path, the hotel offers spacious two-room suites and comfortable gathering spaces that make it easy to rest and connect. Guests can enjoy views of the river, access to an outdoor pool and fitness center, and walkable proximity to local landmarks like the Alamo and historic downtown attractions.

Room Reservation
This year’s Pastors & Wives Retreat will begin on Tuesday, April 28, and conclude on Thursday, April 30. Discounted room rates at the retreat hotel are guaranteed for up to three days before and three days after the retreat dates.

When possible, we encourage everyone to lodge at the retreat hotel rather than off-site. Staying together helps us keep network lodging expenses lower and allows us to enjoy more shared time as a group.

Please indicate the dates of your stay below. You are responsible for covering the cost of any nights outside April 28–30, which are considered an extended stay.

Retreat Scholarship
A limited scholarship fund is available to assist TCT pastors who are experiencing financial hardship and would otherwise be unable to attend the retreat. If you—or someone on your team—are unable to attend due to the cost of retreat-related expenses not currently covered by the network, please provide the pastor’s name and contact information below. A member of the TCT team will follow up to discuss the possibility of assistance.

Minimizing Retreat Expenses
The Pastors & Wives Retreat is the highlight of the TCT calendar. At this event, we all gather to deepen relationships and refresh for the coming year of ministry.

As the network has steadily grown in size and membership, the retreat has also correspondingly grown in expense. Due to our collective commitment to the plurality of eldership, the TCT Lead Team is committed to uniquely encouraging not only a "lead pastor" presence at the retreat, but also other elders and their wives along with church planting residents. We would like to continue to express our values in this way.

If your church is able to help offset retreat expenses by waiving any or all of your complimentary packages, we invite you to indicate that below. Your generosity helps make space for broader participation across the network.
