If your child is interested in playing on a 2016-2017 Mandel JDS sports team, the following forms below must be returned to the school:
1. Athletic Participation Form - Two page form to be printed out, completed and given to your physican to sign.
2. Mandel JDS Parent/Student Activity Participation Waiver - See below. Must be electronically signed by parents.
3. Parent/Athlete Agreement - See below. Must be electronically signed by both parent and athlete.
All sports are offered to 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
Fall - Co-ed Soccer - Athletes must provide their own shin guards and cleats. Practice begins the first week of September.
Fall - Co-ed Running Club
Winter - Girls and Boys Basketball - Varsity and Junior Varsity by grade level. Athletes must provide their own basketball shoes.
Spring - Boys' Baseball - Athletes must provide their own cleats.
Spring - Co-ed Running Club
Sports schedules will be sent by email. Although the soccer schedule is set in May, the basketball schedule is set in October and the softball schedule is set in March, last minute changes may occur. You will be notified of last minute changes by email.
Schedules and rosters will be handed out to participants at one of the first practices. Transportation is NOT provided to away games. Please use the roster for carpool assistance.
All uniforms handed out to participants must be washed and returned at the end of the season to avoid an additional fee.
Fees are set to pay for referees, coaches and equipment. Further information will be distributed prior to the start of each season. If financial assistance is needed, please call the school at 216-464-4055 ext. 124.
