REFERENCES:
NOTE: Two (2) letters of recommendation are required from faculty who are familiar with your ability in math/science/engineering. At least one should come from faculty at your university. If you have previously worked at Baylor College of Medicine, a recommendation is required from your Baylor research mentor. The online application will send a request to your referees who will then upload the letter of recommendation directly to your application. Please convey the above requirements to your referees before submitting your completed application. The reference link will be automatically sent to each of your references for completion. An email will be sent to you once a letter has been submitted on your behalf. All application materials are due Jan. 10th.

SMART Participants are required to spend 9-weeks on site and are required to live in designated housing near the BCM complex, except in unusual circumstances.
List any activities or circumstances that could prevent you from completing the 9-week duration of the program, including activities you may not participate in. Do NOT list any other summer research programs. Program dates are expected to be 6/03/2024-8/02/2024. You will be required to move in on 6/03/2024 and move out on 08/03/2024.

Unofficial Transcripts must be uploaded here even if grades are still pending for the fall semester. We will reach out to you for an update if needed.
