Parental Information/Consent Form

Dear Parent

Your child has been selected to represent Concordia Lutheran College at the Toowoomba Secondary Schools Sports (TSSS) Athletics Carnival Wednesday 14 August 2019. The carnival will begin at 9:00am and conclude at 3:00pm. Students are asked to meet at school no later than 8:15am at the Sports Office. On conclusion of the carnival students will be returned to the College.

DATE: Wednesday 14 August 2019

START TIME: 8:15 am for a 9:00 am start

FINISH TIME: 3:00pm

VENUE: Harristown State High School, Toowoomba

Students will walk to the event at Harristown State High School and walk back to Stephen Street Campus at the conclusion of the event. Students are permitted to attend academic classes before, during or after events. Students will be accompanied by Ms Crichton.

Uniform:

Each competitor in a track event must wear the schools registered number 409 singlet. These are available from sports office prior to going to Harristown State High School. This is compulsory and students will not be permitted to race if not wearing the School number.
Students are to wear their sports uniform to and from the event and in between races.

Please also ensure to bring adequate sun protection, sunscreen and water.

Parents are welcome to come along and support throughout the carnival. Please be aware that there is a separate area designated for spectators. Students must remain in the College’s designated area at all times when they are not being called for marshalling.
