Submitting an application does not guarantee an adoption. Every application is carefully reviewed to ensure each animal is placed in a safe, loving, and lifelong home. Our goal is to find the right fit, not simply the first fit.

Applications are typically processed within 24–48 hours.

At FUR Animal Rescue, we are only interested in placing our animals in true forever homes. Please do not apply if you believe there is a reasonable chance you would surrender or rehome your pet in the future due to allergies, moving, relationship changes, financial hardship, lifestyle changes, having children, or any other foreseeable life event. While we understand that true emergencies can happen, we expect adopters to make every effort to work through life's challenges rather than giving up on their pet. We invest countless hours, resources, and our hearts into every animal, and our goal is to ensure they never have to experience the heartbreak of losing their family again. Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment, and we strive to place each animal in a stable, loving home.

FUR Animal Rescue has a strict NO DECLAW policy. Declawing is harmful and not permitted for adopted cats. If you would consider declawing, please adopt an already declawed cat.

No Declaw PolicyFUR Animal Rescue has a strict no-declaw policy. Declawing is not simply the removal of a cat's claws. It is the surgical amputation of the last bone of each toe and can lead to lifelong pain, arthritis, behavioral issues, and difficulty walking.By adopting from FUR Animal Rescue, I understand and agree that this cat may never be declawed under any circumstances.
