Studio Policies

1. Session/Retainer Fees

Client agrees to pay photographer a session fee/retainer fee at the time of booking to secure their appointment date and time. The session fee covers the time and talent of photographer, session time, and editing of images. Session fees/retainer fees are non-refundable.

2. Rescheduling

If an illness or situation prevents a photo session from taking place, client may reschedule their session at least 48 hours prior to their shoot without penalty. Should client fail to give 48 hours notice, or decide to completely cancel the shoot, this session fee is forfeited and will not be refunded. Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.

3. Copyright/Digital Images

Any digital images you receive/earn/purchase with Photography by Silver Image, Inc. are under a 'Limited Usage Liscense'. All rights to, and exclusive use of digital material and reproduction there from are reserved by Silver Image Photography, whether for display, publication, advertising, web or otherwise.  Silver Image Photography is proud to maintain the copyright of these images as set forth by the United States Copyright Law (17 U.S.C.) and it is unlawful to copy or reproduce them without written permission. With the 'Lmited Usage Liscense', Silver Image Photography still owns the copyright to the images, but they give the client/purchaser/licensee permission to print and reproduce the images for personal use only. The client/purchaser/licensee may not sell the images or use them for commercial purposes; including but not limited to photo contests, magazine contest, magazine covers, billboards, etc. Licensee agrees that altering images is prohibited without first receiving written permission from Photography by Silver Image, Inc.

4. Model Release

Every photographed subject is required to fill out and sign a model release at the time of their session. 

5. Re-shoots/Session Refunds

Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the photographer. Re-shoots and refunds will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair or weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. 

6. Payments/Refunds

All payments are due in full unless payment arrangements have been made. Orders will not be processed until payment in full is received. If client has arranged a payment plan, the order will be placed after the final payment has been received. You acknowledge that all Products and materials are non-refundable and not returnable, under any circumstances. All sales are final.
