Preparing a Business Torts Case for Trial
Presented by Business Torts and Unfair Competition Committee and co-sponsored by the Commercial and Business Litigation Committee
Monday, October 05, 2015 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Eastern
The trial of a business torts case is necessarily one that requires many documents to be admitted into evidence and persuasively described to the judge and a jury. Being ready for such a trial means giving thought to what the trial will look like from the beginning of the case from a thematic, evidentiary, and technological perspective. The roundtable speaker, Matthew O'Hara of Hinshaw & Culbertson's Chicago office, will focus on some practical ideas for preparing a business torts case for trial throughout the life of the case. Mr. O'Hara authored the chapter on Trial Preparation in the recent book published by the Business Torts and Unfair Competition Committee, Business Torts: A Practical Guide to Litigation. Michael LeBoff of Callahan & Blaine in Santa Ana, California will moderate the program.
