    525 Arts Collective Production of The Tempest
  • Participation in 525 Arts Collective’s productions is a privilege that comes with responsibilities. By signing this agreement, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and commit to the expectations below.

    General Policies:

    • Harmful language and physical contact will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
    • UUCLV is a place of business and is provided by the generosity of the UUCLV Board. Please be respectful of the property and rehearsal spaces. 
    • The Paul C. Blau Theatre at the Clark County Lirbrary is a place of business and is provided by the generosity of The Library District.
    • Please be respectful of the property and performance/dressing room spaces. 
    • Food and snacks are allowed into the rehearsal space, but may only be eaten during breaks. Water is highly encourage during rehearsals and performances. 
    • Food and snacks are not allowed into dressing room and performance spaces to ensure the safety of all materials, props, sets, costumes, etc. during the show. 
  • Commitment & Attendance:

    • Students must attend all scheduled rehearsals, tech rehearsals, and performances unless prior arrangements have been communicated and approved by the directors. 
    • Excessive absences or repeated lateness may result in loss of role, reassignments, or removal from the production.
    • Participants understand and agree to pay the full tuition of $200, which is divided into two installments of $100 each. If participants are unable to pay, they may submit a scholarship application for consideration.
  • Conduct & Respect:

    • Students are expected to treat all cast, crew, staff, volunteers, and facilities with respect at all times. 
    • Disruptive behavior, bullying, harassment, or disrespect toward others will not be tolerated. 
  • Language & Content Policy:

    • The use of harmful, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate language - including but not limited to comments about violence, weapons, religion, belief systems, race, gender, sexuality, religion, or personal appearance - will result in immediate removal from the production with no refund. 
    • This applies to all in-person, digital, and social media interactions related to 525 Arts Collective. 
  • Safety & Responsibility:

    • Students must follow all safety rules during rehearsals and performances, including handling of props, costumes, and set pieces.
    • Personal belongings are the responsibility of the student; 525 Arts Collective, UUCLV, and The Library District are not liable for lost or damaged items.
  • Collaboration:

    • Theatre is a team effort. Students agree to work collaboratively, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude even when facing challenges. 
  • Parent/Guardian Role:

    • Pagents/guardians are expected to support their student's commitment by ensuring timely transportation, reviewing rehearsal schedules, and encouraging respectful, responsible behavior. 
    • Parents/guardians may be asked to assist with production needs where possible. 
  • By signing below, we acknowledge that we have read, understand, and agree to follow all expectations outlined in this agreement. We understand that failure to follow these guidelines may result in dismissal from the production without refund.
