Sisters in Cars Scandinavia wants to contribute to transparency, initiative, and collaboration in the automotive- and associated industries. Several women in top positions say that they have left the industry because they did not see a future there, due to a lack of challenges or lack of role models and/or mentors they could relate to. As the industry has so far been male dominated, it is the obvious explanation.
Our wish in connection with Sisters in Cars conference (SICS22 - Oslo) is to create a mentoring program for women in the car industry (and related industries), and we are now looking for both mentors and mentees. Through the program, you will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, through exchange of competence, expertise, values, perspectives, and attitudes. The program will connect people across roles and boarders, and will help build competence, as well as motivate and inspire - for both parties.
We want to welcome you to our first mentor and mentee meeting at Polestar Space (only a few minutes’ walk from Høymagasinet) Tuesday 29th of November at 18.15 to 19.15. We offer inspiration for further dialogue and time for a chat.
