The 'Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens' (FIVA) was founded in 1966 as a response to an idea formulated by a handful of organisations who represented the interests of historic vehicle enthusiasts from a number of different countries. These founders felt that an international body was needed to promote and guide the interests of the historic vehicle movement throughout the world.
Since then, FIVA has become a truly international body and has recently welcomed organisations from the USA, Canada, Russia, China and the UAE. FIVA now has member organisations in more than 62 countries across 5 continents, representing over 1,500,000 individual enthusiasts.
FIVA holds Salon Privé, and the Concours in particular, in very high regard. So high in fact, that we are one of the few events that hold their 'Category A' accreditation, and the only event with that rating in the UK.
We are therefore keen for all entrants to hold FIVA ID-Cards for their entry. However, if you do not have one, please do still submit. We very much recommend you joining FIVA to help them support you and the entire historic vehicle movement going forward.
