  • Please complete and submit the following form. Rule 17-202(A) NMRA requires every attorney admitted to practice in the state to submit to the State Bar of New Mexico and to the Clerk of the Supreme Court an address of record and the street address where client files or other materials related to the attorneys practice are located within thirty (30) days of such change. Name changes must be filed with the NM Supreme Court and are only changed by Court Certificate. Please contact the NM Supreme Court Clerk at (505) 827-4860 or attorneyinfochange@nmcourts.gov.

  • Address of Record The information under Address of Record will be published in the annual Bench & Bar Directory and will be published on the State Bar Web Site. This information will be disclosed to the public upon request. Phone, Fax, Email and Web Site address will be published if provided.

  • Street Address:  If the Address of Record is a PO Box or Mailbox, attorneys must provide a street address where client files or other materials related to the attorney"s practice are located. A street address must be a physical address , you may request the street address to be confidential only if it is different than the Address of Record.
     
  • Home Address You may request we use a home address for mail or billings or shipping. Home addresses are not disclosed to the public. However, if the home address is the Address of Record, this address is considered public record, and can be disclosed.
