  • 2023 Updates

    Over the course of the year we have been evaluating our design services that we offer. As a result, we've restructured some of our fees for template installation charges.

    As ROES has evolved to allow more freedom in your template designs and choices, we've had reconsider the time taken to install these more complicated template sets. In response we have restructured how we price our template installation fees to be more fair across the board. They have been broken down into 2 categories: Basic and Advanced Installation. Both installation methods still have a $10 minimum installation fee, but our baseline installation fee is now $2 per template and that covers the cost of setup by Design and installation by our Software Techs.

    Basic Installation is for simpler templates with no text effects on dynamic text, few photo nodes, and a static background such as ID cards and basic sports or school templates only requiring dynamic text.

    Advanced Installation will include effects such as color changing backgrounds, multiple text effects, or overlapping photos. While some of these effects are easily achieved in programs such as Photoshop they take a lot more time to prepare for installation as well as to install.

    We have broken down how we will be determining the cost for templates falling under the "Advanced Installation" umbrella below:

    Basic (no/minimal effects) $2 ea/$10 minimum
    Advanced (multiple effects - additional fees apply*, see below) Baseline $2 ea/$10 minimum

    + Dynamic Font Colors (Custom Colors/Matching Background) + $2 per template
    + Dynamic Font Colors (Pager Tool - You Choose)*** No Additional Fee
    + Overlapping Photos and/or Feathered Edging Requiring Specific Masking + $2 per template

    *Additional fees only apply to dynamic elements that need to be set up separately in ROES and does not apply to static or flattened text/elements.

    **We reserve the right to adjust our charges based on the amount of work required after we have reviewed your templates. You will be notified of potential additional charges before installation if you wish to modify your templates.

    ***Allowing use of the Pager Tool can create the possibility of "breaking" templates, especially in the case of text with effects. All effects to the specific text will need to be added by the user. We only recommend this for users comfortable and familiar with the tool.

    For example:

    6 templates with color changing background, set colors (+$2), with a stroke, drop shadow, (+1) and gradient (+$1) on dynamic text: $6 per template, $36 total install

     

    We have also updated our Invoices to now include template installation charges to better outline the services required on our end to have your templates installed. If you're ever not sure what it may cost to have your templates installed, we can review them beforehand to give you an idea of what to expect before submitting your request. In addition, we have put together a helpful list of information of what is and isn't possible when installing templates due to the limitations within ROES as well as some good design practices to keep in mind when designing your templates.

  • TURNAROUND FOR DESIGN SERVICES ONLY
    The turnaround for your request starts once ALL required information has been submitted and does not include installation into our ordering software. Requests are processed between 9:00am - 4:00pm EST. Any requests submitted after the 4pm cut-off time will be processed the next business day.

    Templates are installed into software after we receive approval from you on the final design. Please take into consideration the time it takes to create a new, custom design and the turnaround between edits. It could take up to a month for a brand new custom design from start to finish.

    it takes approximately 5 business days for installation, or longer depending on the amount of templates and style of the design.

  • The date you've selected indicates that you will need Rush Services. Requests for Rush Services will incur a fee of 50% of the order total. Rush Services must be approved by the Design Department. You will be notified if we are unable to accommodate your rush request. Rush services do not apply to software installation, printing, or shipping costs, nor do they impact shipping methods or transit/delivery times.
     
    If you do not need Rush Services, please select a date that allows for our turnaround of at least 5 business days.
