  • Project Leadership

Who are the people (clergy, scientists, other professional staff or lay leaders) involved in your leadership team? What are their credentials, and what skills, background and/or passions will they bring to the project? How will they be involved in this project?

Please include names, e-mails and CVs for the project leaders below.

PLEASE NOTE: We are most interested in knowing about the members of your community -- both scientists and Jewish professionals -- who will be involved in helping to lead this initiative.

  • Project Activities:

Your project will need to entail a minimum of four events between July 2023 and December 2024, at least one of which must be an event open to the public at large. Events may include (but are not limited to) Shabbat sermons, adult education classes, religious school activities, or scholar-in-residence programs.

Please provide a concrete and detailed description of activities and undertakings for your project, along with an approximate timeline. What will you be doing? Will your project entail programs spread out throughout the year, or will it be self-contained in a short period of time? Who will be your target audience, and how will you reach them? How do you plan to promote your community's project both within the synagogue and to the wider Jewish community?

In addition, please describe the plan for your public event. Who are your planned speakers (even if they are not yet confirmed), when would you run it, and how will the rest of your team be involved? What is your publicity plan, and what journalists our media outlets would you reach out to try to get coverage about your program? If you have had previous media coverage surrounding your community, please send appropriate URLs.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the continued uncertainty of COVID-19, we understand that some programs may need to be online, or presented in a multi-access format.
