Submit this application if you live in southwestern West Virginia (Mingo or Lenore County) and are interested in fostering dogs for ARTBAR until we find them a rescue or forever home. Depending on which dog you foster, fostering time could be anywhere from a week or two up to several months. Foster dogs must be kept indoors except for exercise and bathroom breaks.
Your own dogs must be spayed (if female) or neutered (if male), 4DX tested negative, and up to date on vaccinations in order for you to foster our dogs. We may be able to help with that if you are low income.
Fostering can be emotionally rough. You will likely become attached to your foster pet. You need to be aware of this before you get your first foster and prepare yourself for the eventuality that the foster will be leaving you at some point in time.
