Overview
Through its State Advocacy Grant program, ASPS provides assistance to societies who are pursuing a legislative goal or fighting a policy in their state that would have a clear impact on the practice of plastic surgery or on our patients. While developing your application, please keep the following in mind:
ASPS will only consider applications submitted by state, regional or local plastic surgery societies.
ASPS will only consider requests that support well-defined engagement on a specific legislative or regulatory development within the jurisdiction of the requesting organization.
ASPS will only consider requests in which the policies in question:
1) align with ASPS state policy priorities;
2) have a significant impact on the practice of plastic surgery and/or patients; and
3) are demonstrably in motion and of a high likelihood of coming to pass.
Grant Cycle & Funding
State advocacy grants, up to $10,000.00, are selectively awarded to state, regional, or local plastic surgery societies. Grant applications and awardee applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the funding pool runs out. Please review the grantee deliverables document before submitting your application.
