Dining Services Contract
This document is to be completed by all students who wish to contract for dining services during the semester indicated. By signing this contract you are obligated to pay the fees shown below. This contract entitles you to meals only when classes are in session.
HOW DO I USE THE MEAL PLAN?
Your Edinboro Univerisity Student ID is required to access meal plans and to use Flex Dollars and Boro Bucks. Your ID card is not transferable for any reason. It is your responsibility to report lost or stolen ID cards to the University Access Office in the Pogue Student Center—2nd floor, or the website: get.cbord.com/edinboro immediately. Lost ID cards and non-working ID cards must be replaced at a cost of $20.00, which can be added to your University Student’s Account.
The 19, 14 and 10 meal programs run Monday breakfast through Sunday late night. Any meals remaining at the end of that week will not be refunded. Block plans (210, 175, 105, 60 and 30) are for an entire semester, according to the total blocks allotted per plan. The use of your student ID for a meal plan during this period constitutes a purchase of the food service for the entire week. Students living on campus must select from in one of the following meal plans: 19, 14, 10 meals per week or the 210 or 175 block plans, with Flex and Boro Bucks. Off-campus and commuter students are welcome to select any meal plans offered.
FLEX DOLLARS
The contract period is for the fall 2019 semester. Unused fall semester Flex Dollars will carry over to the spring semester provided the student contracts for a new dining program for the spring semester.
The Flex Only Plan (for commuters) is a contract for the academic year; unused fall semester Flex Dollars will carry over to the spring semester upon signing a carry-over contract.
Remaining Flex Dollar amounts in excess of $5 at the end of the spring semester will be credited back to your University Student Account. This credit to your University account will be applied to any outstanding balance, if applicable. If no outstanding balance exists, your credit will be applied to future charges. If you are separating from the University due to graduation, withdrawal, or other reasons, you will be refunded any credit balance per University policy. (Note: if you have remaining Flex Dollars in the fall semester and do not have a meal plan in spring semester, the balance will be credited to your account in the same manner as described for spring, at the end of the spring semester unless you request otherwise.)
Flex Dollars can be increased with deposits of $25 or more at the Bursar's Office in Hamilton Hall, the University Access Office in Pogue Student Center--2nd floor, or the website: get.cbord.com/edinboro.
BORO BUCKS
Boro Bucks is a cash debit account to be used at participating merchants, both on and off campus. Each meal plan comes with $25 Boro Bucks. This account remains open to use 24/7 as a student.
Boro Bucks balances in excess of $5 will be credited back to your University Student Account upon separating from the University due to graduation, withdrawal, or other reasons. Otherwise your Boro Bucks can be used with your CURRENT ID card.
Boro Bucks can be increased with deposits of $25 or more at the Bursar's Office in Hamilton Hall, the University Access Office in Pogue Student Center--2nd floor, or the website: get.cbord.com/edinboro.
