Teams must strive to draw their players from one community.This does not mean teams need be school recognized varsity programs in order to compete. The goal, however far off it may be in any community, is getting a team in every school in America in some capacity. Some teams from last year were considered a club at their schools or had other varying or lesser degrees of relationships with schools.

Participants agree that all players attend the same high school and will provide a current student ID card with photo at team check-in prior to playing. Players must upload photos to their USA Rugby roster.

.A team may seek a waiver for a player who does not have a school identification card that is the same as the rest of the team, by writing to the National Girls Coaches Committee no later than April 1st. Teams are not entitled to waivers and they are for limited circumstances only. Factors that may be considered for a waive to be awarded could include a student’s home school status, local school eligibility policies, whether a player began their career in a school district and moved, and whether a player has been registered with or played matches with other teams. Single School Nationals does not support pulling players from other programs to compete. Please include the nature of the relationship the team has with the school community in the waiver letter request. This space is for questions or to state intent to submit a letter.
