Class Rules: All classes are taught using Force-Free, Positive Reinforcement training methods. Physical punishment and intimidation will not be used, nor will it be tolerated by students. The training classes are meant to be enjoyable for you and your dog. Questions are always welcome and encouraged throughout the class. Aversive collars including shock, choke, or prong collars will not be allowed in the facility. Acceptable leash control tools include a flat collar, head halter, or body harness. Treats and toys are highly encouraged as rewards during classes. Suggested treats include small, soft, and stinky treats such as cooked meat, hot dogs, cheese, soft training treats, etc. A treat pouch or other "easy access" treat container is highly recommended. Retractable leashes are not allowed in the facility - please bring a standard 6-foot nylon or leather leash to class. If the trainer feels you or your dog are a threat to other dogs or humans, you may be asked to leave or an alternate training option may be offered to you.
