To safeguard all young people we ask all adults on camp have a valid DBS issued by the Scout Association in the past 5 years.
To apply for a DBS check you are required to fill in and return an Adult Information, this can be downloaded by clicking here. Once complete, please return to your Colony Leader who will make the necessary arrangements to see your supporting documentation and submit the form. This process can take several months to complete, so please ensure that you submit your form in good time. We have no access to the process for the first 60 days of the application nor can we track its progress in this period.
It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that every member of your party that is eligible for a DBS check has it completed in time.
Without a valid Scouting DBS in place we can’t not permit you to stay on site at camp and you WILL loose any fees you have already paid.
Please note we will only accept DBS that have been issued by the Scout Association. We cannot accept any DBS that have been issued other organisations - These are Scouts Association rules.
