A. Session Fees
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your session date (fee amount is based on the type of session).The client agrees to pay the remaining balance in full before or at the session. The total cost covers the time and talent of the photographer, basic retouching and creative editing of images, as determined by Mandy, and the minimum number of images stated in the description of the purchased portrait package to be downloaded by the client through an online gallery sent within 3 weeks of the session. It may take longer during busier times of the year, such as fall. Prints are available for purchase through the website, and the client has full printing rights. It is strongly suggested to purchase through the site, or use sites such as mpix.com to ensure professional quality.
B. Rescheduling
If an illness or situation prevents a photo session from taking place, the client may reschedule his or her session. Please inform the photographer as soon as possible through e-mail or cell. Mandy also reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond her control and will inform you as soon as possible through e-mail. If the weather is very poor for an outdoor shoot, the client can choose to reschedule or move the shoot to their home. You will be notified as soon as possible through e-mail or cell. Because of the setup involved, styled mini session events cannot be rescheduled by the client. If circumstances arise that prevent the client from coming to their mini session, they may sell or gift the session to someone else.
C. Re-shoots/Refunds
Re-shoots and refunds are determined at the discretion of the photographer. Depending on the reasoning, additional fees may be required. Re-shoots will not be given for clothing choices by clients whether borrowed outfits are used or clothing brought in by clients.
D. Cancellations
Please inform Mandy as soon as you know that you need to cancel and not reschedule a session. Please give at least two weeks notice, so there is time to possibly fill your spot. Your deposit will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.
E. Archive
After 90 days, all images will be burned onto DVDs and stored in a filing system. Mandy will hold onto these DVDs indefinitely, but DVDs can fail, be damaged, etc. It is your responsibility to store your copy of these digital files, as Mandy may not be able to replace them if needed. Photographer is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond photographer’s control. Clients are encouraged to store photos in Cloud storage such as Dropbox or Google Drive, do not rely soley on saving them to your computer.
F. Altering Images
Mandy Ringe Photography retains all rights to images. Clients may not alter images in any way. Including, but not limited to, cropping for use on Facebook/Instagram/other websites, applying filters or changing the color, or additional edits using photoshop or similar editing programs. Any additional edits must be completed by Mandy Ringe Photography and may incur additional charges.
G. Liability
Clients will be responsible for the safety of their children and themselves and release photographer from any claims against her or the business.
H. Session Requests
*No cameras/camcorders/any type of recording device (this includes cell phone cameras) are allowed during the session without Mandy's permission. A few "behind the scenes" shots may be permitted, but excessive recording is not allowed.
*Session starts at the agreed upon time. It is strongly encouraged that clients arrive about 10 minutes prior to the start of session. This allows for any last-minute feeding, changing, and relaxing before session begins.
