Residents interested in serving as a volunteer on Broomfield’s Local Health and Human Services Advisory Committee are asked to complete this application and submit it to the City Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Friday, February 2, 2018. You may attach extra pages to the application if you need additional space in answering the questions below. You may also attach a resume, if you wish. Applicants will receive a confirmation email with a link to schedule an interview online. Interviews will be conducted as needed on one of the evenings of February 22, February 28, and March 1, 2018, with additional evening interview dates as needed. Official appointments will be made at a public meeting of the City Council on March 13 or March 20, 2018.
Meeting Schedule: The Health and Human Services Advisory Committee meets on the 3rd Thursday, every other month, at 5:30 p.m.
Purpose: The Health and Human Services Advisory Committee advises the Health and Human Services Department on community needs and the implementation of integrated services to address these needs; provides community input and feedback to the Department; serves as a “pool” for statutorily required board and commission memberships; encourages and promotes ongoing community involvement, communication, and education regarding HHS programs; participates in specific, temporary task forces on select issues identified by the Health and Human Services Department.
