Residents interested in serving as a volunteer on Broomfield’s Brunner Farmhouse Citizen Advisory Committee are asked to complete this application and submit it to the City Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018. You may attach extra pages to the application if you need additional space in answering the questions below. You may also attach a resume, if you wish. Applicants will receive a confirmation email with a link to schedule an interview online. Interviews will be conducted as needed on one of the evenings of February 22, February 28, and March 1, 2018, with additional evening interview dates as needed. Official appointments will be made at a public meeting of the City Council on March 13 or March 20, 2018.
Meeting Schedule: The Brunner Farmhouse Citizen Advisory Committee meets on the 1st Monday monthly at 6:30 p.m.
Purpose: Advise Council on matters related to the Brunner Farmhouse, including: when necessary, recommend a Broomfield non-profit for use of an upstairs office; review and approve requests for use of the Farmhouse using approved guidelines; implement policies for use of the meeting areas by groups; light maintenance and upkeep of the Farmhouse and site; guidelines for the planting and care of garden areas and other topics as requested by Council; and research and pursue, to the extent feasible, additional funding sources to the renovations and operations of the Farmhouse.
