TRAINING AGREEMENT AND LIABILITY RELEASE: Good Karma Canine, LLC reserves the right to deny or refuse a dog because of safety issues with other dogs or employees. Dogs will be denied for physical illness. Dogs will be denied for people aggression unless given prior approval by the instructor. Participant agrees to maintain full control over his/her dog and accepts full responsibility for their dogs behavior. Participant affirms that his/her dog is current on all age-appropriate vaccinations. This includes but is not limited to: Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, Bordatella and flea and parasite control. Your dog(s) must be free from infections, parasites and contagious or transmissible diseases.
Participant recognizes the inherent risk associated in dog training and realizes that a dog is a creature capable of and given to independent action. Participant assumes the entire risk and responsibility for property damage and personal injury, harm, or death that may occur to themselves or any guest they bring with them as a result of the actions or inactions of participant, another person, or certain canine behaviors included, but not limited to, biting, knocking over, jumping on, transmittable diseases, or unpredictable reactions to drugs or medications whether caused by participant’s dog or the dog of other participants. Participant agrees to fully release and forever discharges Good Karma Canine, LLC, its agents and employees, from any and all claims for loss, damage or injury to you or your dog(s) while in the care or on the premises of Good Karma Canine, LLC or any of its partners. Care such as: Private in-home or on-location dog training, workshops, classes, events, outings, or any other services or activities offered by Good Karma Canine, LLC. Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Good Karma Canine, LLC and its owners, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, lawsuits, proceedings, losses, actions, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, incurred by such persons, which result from, arise out of, or are in connection with the actions or inactions of the Participant and his/her dog.
At Good Karma Canine, LLC's sole election, Good Karma Canine, LLC's duties hereunder shall terminate if (a) Good Karma Canine, LLC's sole judgement deems the client and/or dog is dangerous or vicious to Good Karma Canine, LLC or any other person or animal, or interferes with the training of other dogs, or (b) client breaches any term or condition of this agreement, or (c) in the case of safety concerns, financial concerns, unsanitary conditions, inhumane treatment of animals, non-payment of services, or situations that Good Karma Canine, LLC deems inappropriate or uncomfortable. Upon termination in accordance with the foregoning, Good Karma Canine, LLC's duties shall terminate, but all other provisions of the agreement shall continue in full effect.
The Client shall be liable for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to Good Karma Canine, LLC, its demonstration and staff dogs, and its Staff caused by the pet, as well as any damage to the Owner's property caused by the pet. Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the sitter in the event of a claim by any person injured by their pet(s).
CANCELLATION POLICY: Client understands that service fees are due at the time of booking or prior to the requested service and are non-refundable. Client must give written notice to reschedule an appointment.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE: I consent to the use of photographs and videos of client/participant and/or his/her dog by Good Karma Canine, LLC, including, but not limited to publishing on Good Karma Canine, LLC's website and blog, Facebook page, Instagram account, Twitter account, Pinterest account, YouTube channel or in email marketing.
