  • We are pleased to offer financial assistance to adults for their membership and for girls seeking assistance with Program Vouchers or Activities/Events/Programs and Camps.

    Note: This form is not required for financial assistance requests for girl membership fees. If you need assistance with a girl membership, please contact us at info@gsnypenn.org.

    We are committed to ensuring that all girls are able to participate in Girl Scouting regardless of socioeconomic status. Funds are intended to subsidize costs associated with store vouchers for girls, Council-Sponsored Girl Scout Leadership Experience activities/events/camps for girls and adult membership assistance if participation is required for safety purposes.

  • Delaware County Residents:

    Thanks to the generosity of the A. Lindsay & Olive B. O'Connor Foundation, Inc., registered Girl Scouts and soon-to-be Girl Scouts that attend South Kortright Central School and/or live in Delaware County can attend one of GSNYPENN's camps at no cost while funding is available. 

    A $25 deposit will hold your spot and be refunded after camp is attended.

    As a not-for-profit, we must have the application on file for any funding awarded.

  • Thanks to a generous donation from United Way of Chenango County, we are able to award full scholarships to residents of Chenango County to participate in the Norwich Community Day Camp.

    Income documentation is not needed. However, we do ask that you complete the household income. We use this information internally to assist with grant applications.

  • You do not need to supply income documentation if you are part of the Big Brother Big Sister Program. We do ask that you provide us with what the household income is - this is for internal use to assist us in grant applications. 

  • Submit your completed Financial Assistance Application with the following:

    1. Current year’s Federal tax Return (Form 1040 pages 1 and 2 only; or 1040EZ)
      OR
      Copies of the last two paycheck stubs for all working individuals in household or a letter from employer stating your annual salary.
    2. Copies of any supporting documentation listed in the above household income sources line.

    Please mark out all social security numbers, tax ID numbers and/or credit card numbers before submitting any paperwork.

  • Please submit a handwritten note from the camper regarding what the camper is most looking forward to about summer camp! In the note, please include the camper's first name, county, and if they have attended camp before or if this is their first time.

  • Decisions regarding Summer Camp applications will decisions will begin in January 2024 and continue on a rolling basis. Please allow 2-3 weeks for a Financial Assistance decision for Adult Membership fees, Store Vouchers, and Council Programs.  You will be notified via email for all financial assistance decisions.
