Application for Summer Public Interest Scholarships
The Project on the Right to Research in International Copyright is seeking to award public interest scholarships to attend two summmer training programs:
American University's summer certificate course on Copyright, Licensing, and Open Licenses https://www.wcl.american.edu/academics/areas/ip-law/intellectual-property-summer-sessions/ will have a focus on open licensing in the publishing industry and will be held online.
The University of Amsterdam's summer course in International Copyright https://www.ivir.nl/courses/icl/ will have a focus on limitaitons and exceptions in international treaties and will include a mock negotiaiton. This class will held in-person only.
Applications for a scholarship must be approved before registering.
Public interst scholarships are generally limited to 50% of the tuition cost of the course. Members of the Project or those referred by a project member may be eligible for up to a 100% tuition scholarship. Travel expenses are not included in either scholarship.
