Position Summary:
Assist in the overseeing of the Housekeeping Operations to ensure profitability, control costs and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Supervises housekeeping staff and assist with all aspects of the areas. Inspect rooms daily to ensure room attendants are cleaning to Hotel Phillips standard. Assist in the functions of hiring, training, and supervising of housekeeping staff in the hotel. Enforce and direct hotel requirements as necessary. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff. Assign and instruct staff in detail of work.
Requirements:
Must possess basic computer skills. Previous Housekeeping supervision experience is required but can be substituted with min of 2 years inspector experience. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted, be on feet for long periods of time, and be able to work any day of the week.
