Position Summary:
Greet and assist guests in entering and exiting their vehicles. Park and retrieve guest vehicles as needed. Transport luggage and packages from guest vehicles to bell carts. Assist guests and answer inquiries regarding directions, city highlights and guest rooms. This position is the first impression of our hotel therefore, strong hospitality skills are required.
Requirements:
Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods of time in extreme temperature ranges. Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to drive manual shift (stick) vehicle. Ability to read English language sufficiently to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks and to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists. Ability to grasp, lift, carry and/or move packages, boxes and luggage up to 55 lbs. continuously throughout shift. Ability to stand, walk and/or run continuously while performing essential job functions. Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload luggage.
