Senior Check Form

After completing 91 credit hours of course work, students are encouraged to have a Senior Check completed. Assuming satisfactory completion of all approved courses, this process will assure that all requirements of the student's degree are met. As long as the advice is followed on it, and the student does not change programs, more than one Senior Check is not necessary.

If you are graduating in the current semester, please be sure to apply for graduation through MavLink by the posted deadline for each term. For deadlines and more graduation information, please visit the UNO website.

The completed senior check will be sent to your UNO email address. Due to volume, please allow at least one week for us to complete your senior check.

NOTE: If you have already had a Senior Check completed in a prior semester, please do NOT submit another request. Please continue to follow the results of the prior Senior Check and consult your advisor on remaining requirements.

During your final semester, you must apply for graduation in MavLink by the posted deadline in MavLINK. Whether you choose to participate in commencement or not, all students need to fill out the graduation application in order to graduate their final semester.Students have 15 business days following commencement to have all transcripts and grades sent to the UNO Registrar's Office.A minimum cumulative UNO GPA of 2.00 and 120 credit hours are required to graduate.All required courses must be completed with a "C-" or higher. (NOTE: some programs require a "C" or higher in major coursework)Senior check requests will be completed in the order they are received with priority being given to students graduating in the current semester.Your senior check results will be sent directly to your UNO email address.
