Oscarson Discovery Grant applicants must be UNDERGRADUATE students majoring in the College of Fine Arts and Communications.
Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on the due date. Oscarson grants cannot be applied retroactively -- you must apply for and receive the funding before your experience begins. All experiences must be completed PRIOR to your graduation date.

In order to ensure the time you invest in your application is not lost, we encourage you to write your responses to the questions in a Word document and paste them into the appropriate fields. Once your application is submitted, changes cannot be made. A confirmation email will be sent with a pdf copy of your completed application.
You will need the following information in order to complete this application.
Detailed budget information
A commitment email or letter from the person or venue
A one-page résumé
A brief statement of support from a full-time faculty member of the College of Fine Arts and Communications describing their knowledge of the proposed venue and project experience and addressing the practicality of the project relating to the applicant
A signed Photo and Writing Release form
