SCHEDULE

9:00 - 9:40 am - Check-in/Set-up

9:40 -9:55 am- Devotional/Announcemments

10:00 am - 12:30 pm - Morning Honors 

12:30 - 1:30 pm - Lunch Break

1:30 - 4:00 pm - Afternoon Honors 

4:00 pm - Safe Travels!

It is expected that EVERY CLUB will teach at least 1 honor. We are asking that you plan to use the following ranges as it pertains to teaching honors. The expectation is as follows:
1-10 kids = minimum of 1 honor.
11-20 kids = minimum of 2 honors.
21-30 kids = minimum of 3 honors.

Please check the requirements for the honor(s) you will be teaching in advance. If you cannot totally finish the requirements in 3-6 hours, the honor is not suitable for this event. Please maintain the integrity of the honors you will teach as there is a reason for each of the items to be taught for the honor. PLEASE TEACH SOMETHING NEW, AND SOME SKILL LEVEL 2 OR 3 HONORS FOR THE TEEN PATHFINDERS!

Please also submit an outline of how you are going to teach your honor(s) to the Youth Department by the registration deadline, February 12th at 5 pm, or give us a call to discuss it at (630) 716-3529, or email youthdept@ilcsda.org

Please inform us if you are planning on teaching an honor in Spanish by the registration deadline. 

Please plan to teach honors that require very little or no electricity. 

We will provide a list of Honors and the cost prior to the event. 

The total cost for each person to attend Honors Academy is a $2 facilities fee, plus the cost of their honor class(es). Payment will be taken upon arrival...CASH ONLY.

Please be sure that your Pathfinders bring small bills with them so that honor teachers and people selling food don't have to scramble to find change. Please, NO $10 or $20 BILLS, unless you are paying for your entire club's facilities fees ($2 per person). This takes some previous planning on your and the parents' part, but it will help immensely.
