Completing this application is only the first step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Ashemburg Reg'd. Rottweilers. Submission of this questionnaire in no way guarantees you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, Ashemburg Reg'd. Rottweilers reserves the absolute right to refuse any placement at any time.
If this application is approved, you will be contacted to arrange an in person meeting/interview (where distance allows). If you live a distance too far to allow a personal interview, please expect a telephone call.
Deposits are not accepted until puppies are on the ground. Once you are notified by us that it looks as though we will have a puppy available, you will be requested to make a deposit at that time. As we do not make prospective owners pay a deposit upfront, if you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter, regardless of whether your gender preference is available. Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the deposit is forfeited.
Puppies will be temperament tested at seven (7) weeks of age and structurally evaluated at eight (8) weeks of age. After all evaluations are completed and Ashemburg Reg'd. Rottweilers has chosen their keeper(s), the remaining puppies will be matched to the homes best suited to their personalities. You do not get to choose your puppy. Preference is ALWAYS given to homes committed to showing and/or working their puppy. Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at 9 weeks of age. If you have questions or concerns regarding our placement policy, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be more than happy to explain why we do things the way we do.
All of our puppies are sold on legally binding written contracts (I work in a law firm). If you are not fully committed to upholding your terms in the contract you will sign (and review far in advance), please do not bother to submit this questionnaire. We are fully committed to our puppies and stand behind our terms/guarantees of the contract to our owners, and we expect nothing less from our owners. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us to discuss your concerns prior to picking up your puppy. You will be emailed a copy of the contract to review before you are asked to provide a deposit so you will have plenty of time to read and understand the document.
