Position Details:
This management leadership position reports to the General Manager and oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department and team. Also, interacts with guests to ensure a positive guest experience. Hire, train, schedule, supervise and develop Housekeeping Associates. Establish standards of cleanliness for all Housekeeping areas of responsibility. Complete inspections on a daily basis to include all VIP arrivals, public areas and back of the house. Responsible for inventory control, labor control and budget management. Previous housekeeping management experience required, with thorough knowledge of all housekeeping procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, advanced degree in hospitality related field preferred. Technology skills appropriate to enable use of email, internet and various spreadsheet programs. Must be able to physically and visually inspect all areas of Hotel. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and reach primarily to physically and visually inspect all areas of the property.
