Here at Camp Sankanac, we strive to keep our summer camp fees as reasonable as we possibly can. We are aware of the financial struggle that some parents face in sending their kids to Christian summer camp. The good news is, many godly families and organizations echo our passion for seeing kids experience Christian summer camp, knowing the lasting impact it can have on kids! So these amazing friends have partnered with Camp Sankanac over the years by giving to our Campership Program. This program was developed decades ago to assist struggling families with giving their children the amazing experience of Christian summer camp. We praise the Lord for those who give and for the thousands of campers who have been blessed to receive over the years...lives are being changed by this program!
If you are considering applying for financial assistance, in good stewardship of the ministry here, we ask that you do 3 things...
1. Please pray. Pray with us that God would provide for your needs and for our needs as we strive to assist families just like yours. Please also pray about how much your family can afford to pay for camp. Although we would love to welcome each child for free, obviously, as you know, there are high expenses on our part in providing fun, interactive, safe and spiritually nourishing programs. The requests for financial aid are many. In order for us to respond in helping your family and the many other families who are in need, we ask that you heavily consider what you can contribute to your child's summer camp fees.
As you are determining your need, please keep in mind...
- Small payments can be made on the campers' account over time. Payments can conveniently be made online through our online registration program, by phone or via check by mail.
-Additional standard discounts are available! Please take a look to see if there are any discounts that you could qualify for (all financial aid applicants are required to apply for the Summer Food Service Discount). There's no better way to save big for camp than to refer a new friend!!
SUMMER FOOD SERVICE DISCOUNT- Similar to the Hot Lunch program at school, qualifying families will receive $40 in assistance for overnight camp and $15 for day camp. Application required.
SIBLING DISCOUNT-Each additional sibling (after the first) will receive $50 off. Overnight Camp only.
FRIEND RECOMMENDATION DISCOUNT- Refer a brand new friend to camp and you'll receive $65 off for each friend referred! Both parties must list the referral on online registration. Applicable for overnight & day camp.
CAMPER-WORKER DISCOUNT- pay $100 less than standard cost for campers ages 14-16 who sign up to help out in the kitchen as a "camper-worker." First come, first serve...only select weeks available. See the website for details.
2. All financial assistance applicants will be required to fill out the Summer Food Service form BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS FORM. The Summer Food Service Application and the Campership assistance application (this form) must be sent in by June 1st! Please CLICK HERE to access the Summer Food Service form and submit it to discounts@campsankanac.org before completing the form below.
3. Please fill out the Campership Financial Assistance form below. We will review this application, consider it heavily and respond to you as soon as we can. Filling out the form below DOES NOT register your child for any program, nor does it save their spot in any way. Registration is a separate process and can be completed through our website.
