This position is new and will provide support for the Mid-Level Community of Practice, as well as work to create and assist additional Communities of Practice as appropriate. This position will serve as member of the ACPA Assembly Leadership and work directly with the Vice President, Director of Equity & Inclusion, and with the Assembly Coordinators for Coalitions, Commissions, State/Regional Chapters, and International Divisions. The role of the Assembly and its leadership is to coordinate and support the independent and collaborative work of its constituent bodies and to direct the constituent bodies in the activities and research necessary to achieve the Association's mission. Through the constituent bodies, leaders of the Assembly will bring forth new ideas, concepts, and proposals for consideration and, when necessary, action of the Governing Board.
The Interim Assembly Coordinator for Communities of Practice selection committee will work within a short timeframe to nominate and select a candidate to present to the Governing Board for their vote.
