6) Hip and elbow Dysplasia are considered being congenital. Studies have shown that the outcome of development of joints can be influenced by the environment. The dog needs to be kept in healthy weight and should not run extensively, climbing stairs or jumping excessively until joints are fully developed (age of 12 months).
In the rare event that the dog named above develops hip or elbows dysplasia, the Buyer is required to provide a radio-graphic image with proper identification of the dog on the image to be conclusively evaluated by the OFA.
The warranty will be granted only if the OFA rating is “moderate” or “severe”.
Seller will then either refund 30% of the purchase price (purchase price of the dog – not incl. Shipping handling training or any additional services charged to the Buyer initially) or replace the dog. The dog shall be no older than 26 months at the time the x-ray is taken. Deformities in joints caused by accident or injury, or other circumstances but genetics, are excluded from this warranty.
