    A General Membership to JSNE requires you to agree to abide by the rules and regulations laid out in our constitution and operating guidelines.

    JSNE Membership Requirements

    • Must be 18 or over and Resident of New England
    • Believes in the principles of Jainism and agrees to abide by JSNE constitution
    • The membership maintenance fee is $10/year and dues every calendar year per family.
    • This form along with maintenance dues shall be submitted to any EC member and must be approved by EC.
    • The failure to comply with any of the above requirements will revoke your membership. The membership and the associated privileges will be reinstated twelve [12] months after fulfilling the requirements.

    JSNE Membership Privileges

    • Attend and participate in all JSNE events such as pujas, pravachans, pathshala and other rituals.
    • A General Member (GM) can be appointed by JSNE Executive Committee to any subcommittee such as puja, cleaning, special events, fund raising, pathshala staff etc.
    • A GM in good standing for a minimum of twelve [12] months will be eligible to vote in general elections with the exception where only Distinguish Members can vote as determined by the Board of Trustees.
    • A GM in good standing for a minimum of twelve [12] months can contest for a Member at Large (director) position in JSNE Executive Committee. A GM cannot contest for the office bearer positions (President, V.P., Secretary, and Treasurer) identified in Article 5.1.
    • GM in good standing can express his opinion and make recommendations in JSNE activities, future planning, and join major project committees.
