Projects will be evaluated based upon their positive impact, level of collaboration across groups (faculty, institutions, students, staff, community partners, etc.), and integration of academic learning with community engagement or service-learning. Projects can be nominated by faculty, staff, students, members of the community, or self-nominated.
All nominees will be invited to provide additional information on their projects, providing a full description of the student and community impact. Leaders of nominated projects will be encouraged to gather letters of support from students, community members, community partners, faculty, and staff who have experience of the project’s positive impact on academic learning or community change.
