  • As per our Supplier Quality Manual you have visited this page to inform HYG of a change you would like to make. In our processes we have two different change request paths, one is for a design change and the other is for a process change. Please read the descriptions and examples below to decide which one best suits your needs and select that one. This will then direct you to the correct Change Request page where you will enter all the relevant data and submit it to HYG for review. 

  • Please select one of the following options, DESIGN or PROCESS, and then click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.

  • Option 1 - DESIGN Change (ECR)

  • Examples of DESIGN Changes are as follows:

    a.) Change requested to Hyster-Yale Product Requirements Document (PRD)    

    b.) Request change to material specification    

    c.) Requested design change to enhance performance    

    d.) Change to software internal to supplied product    

    e.) Change to tolerance of Hyster-Yale designed component.    

    f.) Change to tolerance of supplier designed component

  • Option 2 - PROCESS change (PCR)

  • Examples of Process Change are as follows:

    1.) Raw Material Supplier or Process used to make the raw material.

    2.) Location of manufacturing equipment even if being moved within the facility.

    3.) Type of machine, tool or process used to manufacture, assemble or package the product.

    4.) Change of Supplier or change in the process at your Supplier impacting HYG product.

    5.) Any changes, additions or rotations involving more than 20% of the current production staff working on HYG product.

    6.) Additional tooling, complete replacement or complete / major refurbishment of existing tooling.

    7.) Product packaging changes.

    8.) Serial # / Bar code format changes.
