    IMPORTANT: Do not take a placement test in a language you have never studied or learned. Register when you are ready to take the test. The instructions will be emailed to you immediately after you submit your registration form. Please note! Placement Test results expire after one year. We encourage you to enroll in a language class as soon as possible to avoid missing the expiration date. Students whose test results have expired must register and retake the placement test.

  • PAYMENT:  Your student account will be charged a non-refundable registration fee for each language test you register for. New students who take the test before classes begin receive a 50% discounted test fee of $10. The fee for returning/continuing students is $20. The only exceptions are the test fee for Mandarin Chinese and Spanish Heritage Learners which is $20 for all students. Please note: Test fees may change depending on the provider.

  • EXPIRATION: This Registration will expire at the end of the current semester. Refer to the test instructions for the exact expiration date.

     You will need to re-register if you have not taken the placement test by the expiration date and another registration fee will be charged to your student account upon re-registering.
