Serves as the primary staff person charged with responsibility of managing accounts receiveable, accounts payable, and other basic bookkeeping tasks for the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS and a number small associations, councils and divisions under the umbrella of management of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS. Provides recommendations to officers, the Boards of Directors and committees on courses of action that would achieve the respective organization’s purpose, goals and policies. Oversees the finance of these groups and will work with other staff specialists to carry out these functions. Some travel may be expected to attend relevant regional or national meetings and events.
Fluency in QuickBooks Accounting Software is required. Beyond basic management skills, the individual will lead by example in communication skills. Not only are verbal skills important, but the individual will demonstrate competent use of software programs (like word document) to create letters and emails as needed. The individual shall become familiar with, and able to use internal data base systems, and the individual will report directly to the GBRAR Association Executive.
Restrictions: Employee may not hold a current real estate license.
