  • Thank you for your interest in hosting an NJCAA Championship. The following online bid form asks for all relative information regarding hosting this specific event. Please note that this form is rather long and can take a bit of time to complete. Should you begin to fill out the form and need to finish it later, you can exit the form and your responses will be saved (with the exception of attachments uploaded) as long as you return to the form using the same computer and web browser (this depends on your web browser settings and storage capacity).

  • Potential HOST agrees and acknowledges that they have read and reviewed the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements as well as the NJCAA Football Championship Game Host Requirements and will comply follow all guidelines and requirements outlined in these documents.

  • DATES
  • The suggested dates for the NJCAA Football Championship Game for years 2021, 2022, 2023 as well as the corresponding events that are to be held related to the title game are below.  Alternative dates will be considered. Events part of the NJCAA Football Championship Game are to include a press conference and formal banquet two nights prior to the title game, a community service day (or similar event) the day prior to the title game and a tailgate / fan fest experience for fans on gameday – all organized and executed by the host.

    *2022: Thursday, December 1, 2022 - Friday, December 2, 2022 - Saturday, December 3, 2022


    *2023: Thursday, November 30, 2023 - Friday, December 1, 2023 - Saturday, December 2, 2023

    *Please note that the NJCAA is open to looking at Wednesday or Thursday for the national championship game to make the event more attractive for national television coverage.

  • TEAM SELECTIONS & FINANCIAL PACKAGES

    The top two teams in the final NJCAA Football Poll of the regular season will be invited to participate in the NJCAA Football Championship Game. The following is a suggested financial / compensation package the host of the NJCAA Football Championship Game is encouraged to provide to each team:  
                                    - $5,000 per team to offset travel costs
                                    - 2 complimentary nights lodging (30 rooms) for each team
                                    - Box meal (90 total) provided to each team after the game
                                    - 100 complimentary tickets provided to each team
                                    - 100 complimentary game programs to each team

  • HOST agrees the following facility requirements for the NJCAA Football Championship Game:

    - The NJCAA desires a stadium-style facility with seating capacity at a minimum of 3,000 and no larger than 15,000 (preferred not mandatory).

    - The field and markings must meet current NCAA guidelins identified in the NCAA Football Playing Rules.  

    - Well managed natural grass surface or field turf that meets NCAA regulations for artificial turf.

    - ADA Compliant

    - No alcohol / tobacco use at NJCAA event

    - Public Address and Sound System

    - Modernized scoreboard and videoboard that can provide fans with essential details of the game.

    - Athletic Training Facilities

    - Stadium lighting that meets standards according the NCAA Football Rules

    - Elevated press box that can house between 50-75 people with electric power, phone lines, wired and wireless internet capabilities while being able to accomodate television staging and talent, as well as potentially housing an Instant Replay System.

    - Press box must have seperate rooms/space for select coaches of both teams, radio crews for both teams, media, administrators, statisticians, PA system and controls to electronic scoreboard.

    - Press box must have platforms for TV cameras on the same side of the press box. Camera platforms should ideally be located between the 35 and 40 yard lines on both sides of the 50 yard line.

    - Press box must have the ability to provide a comprehensive hospitality room for college administration, officials, NJCAA sponsors, bowl guests and VIPs

    - Concessions and Souvenir sales area

    - Ticket Office / Gate Entry

    - Two (2) locker rooms complete with showers for teams

    - Separate and secured locker room for officials

    - Dedicated hard wire internet for NJCAA TV broadcasting or National Television Broadcast

    - Adequate parking for team buses and equipment vehicles

  • NJCAA BRAND STANDARDS & LOGO USE
  • All NJCAA Championship Hosts must adhere and follow all policies of the NJCAA Style Guides, as well as what is outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements.  The official championship logo will be provided by the NJCAA. No alternate logos may be used without prior approval.

  • Additional notes on Marketing for the NJCAA Football Championship Game:

    NJCAA Signage and Displays
    The NJCAA will provided specialized signage for the host to display at the venue / facility – at no cost to the host. In addition, several NJCAA national sponsors are contracted to receive prominent display opportunities at the championship game. The NJCAA will inform host of this requirement and provide such banners at no cost to the host.


    Local sponsors
    Host is permitted to secure local sponsors, however, there can be no conflicts with sponsorships between any local sponsor that the host secures and a national sponsor of the NJCAA. Local sponsorships of any kind are to be approved by the NJCAA prior to the signing of any contract by the host. All revenue gained from local sponsors to be reported as event income in the post-championship game budget and expense report to the NJCAA. 

    Championship Game Program
    Host is responsible for creating the championship game program. All costs associated with the creation and printing of the game program is the responsibility of the host. The NJCAA requires a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 pages within the program be reserved for advertisements and marketing pages from the NJCAA and its partners. Any additional advertising within the program is the responsibility of the host and must not conflict with the NJCAA’s national sponsors. Upon written request no later than 30 days prior to the championship game, the NJCAA can provide general football information such as historical information, previous season results, records, etc., for inclusion in the program. The NJCAA should approve the game program prior to printing. 

  • STATISTICS / RESULTS
  • Host agrees it is responsible for providing knowledgeable staff to record official statistics for the NJCAA Football Championship Game. Statistics are to be recorded and distributed/reported to the general public and NJCAA immediately following the conclusion of the contest.

    Host is required to record LIVE game statistics with appropriate gamecast so fans can follow the stats of the game via one of the following statistics software programs: DakStats, StatCrew, or PrestoSports Stat Entry. The XML file for the game is to be sent to the NJCAA immediately following the conclusion of the game.
