Textbook and equipment loans are available to ACTIVE Kilgore College TRiO participants only.  Students with a GPA lower than a 2.0 MUST arrange for tutoring services and check-in weekly with the Learning Specialist or lending privileges may be revoked. Books/equipment will only be checked-out during the Term the class is taken (ex: may not check out Fall 2 items during the Fall 1 Term; Summer II items may not be checked out during Summer I) Requests MUST include course title and section (TRIO staff will not refer to schedules to determine required books)

"I understand that I am borrowing this book/equipment for one Term only.  It is my responsibility to take care of this book/equipment while it is assigned to me. I agree to pay for the replacement of damaged, lost, or stolen books/equipment. I understand that I must immediately file a report with the Learning Specialist for damaged, lost, and/or stolen items. I understand that failure to return a borrowed item will result in a HOLD placed upon my academic records and will result in being ineligible to utilize TRiO Lending Services in the future. I understand that submitting this request does not ensure availability and that I will be notified, at least 1 week before the Term begins, by KC email, of the status of my request."
