The governors of North Carolina and Mississippi recently signed bills that are being referred to as anti-LGBT because they provide legal protections for those wishing to discriminate against people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Discrimination in any form is dangerous, but when it’s related to HIV, it can affect a person’s ability to access support, care and treatment.
