This application MUST be completed entirely and your college transcript must be on file along with your completed Financial Aid packet in order for your application to be considered.   • The FRANK HOWARD, SR. SCHOLARSHIP was established in honor of Frank Howard, Sr. who served as an instructor in the Math and Science Department for Coahoma community from 1966 - 1990. Five students will be awarded in the Fall and five students will be awarded in the Spring semester. The student must be enrolled full-time (15 hours) without a break or gap in enrollment with a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The student must also demonstrate outstanding scholastic ability and/or leadership with the determination to graduate from college and holding membership in a college organization. The student must submit the scholarship application with most recent transcript attached, letters of recommendation from two former college instructors, and a one-page letter written by the applicant explaining his or her educational goals. Total award is $500 per student.
    Students will be awarded only once upon selection.

The award letter will indicate the specific requirements of the scholarship. This statement is that of the donor.
