    Belmont University Concurrent Enrollment /Senior Residency Waiver Request

  • The Concurrent Enrollment/Senior Residency Waiver Request form is for students who are currently enrolled in courses at Belmont University, and who are seeking to take additional courses at another accedited college or university (called the "concurrent institution" hereafter).

    Seniors within 32 hours of completing a Belmont degree must complete the Senior Residency Waiver section of this form in addition to the Request for Concurrent Enrollment section to ensure the course(s) meet degree requirements.  All courses that Seniors are planning to take through other colleges/universities must be approved. 

    Once a student has matriculated into Belmont, s/he may not take more than a total of 18 credit hours at another college or university. Students may not take more than a total of 19 credit hours in any single semester (Fall & Spring) and 16 credit hours (Summer) inclusive of Belmont credit hours and all attempted credit hours at other institutions.

     **Students may submit up to 5 courses per term. Please submit all courses that you are requesting on a single submission. The Concurrent Enrollment Request is designed to approve the institution, number of credit hours and exact courses**

    4. I read the concurrent enrollment policy and the steps required to complete the process. I understand the provision for this status, and acknowledge it is my responsibility to inform, in  writing, my academic advisor and the Office of the Registrar of any changes upon approval.
    5. I understand that it is my responsibility to submit the request in a timely fashion, allowing for processing time before registering at the secondary institution. Processing time can be up to ten business days during April and May and up to five business days during the rest of the year. Requests are processed in the order in which they were received.
