Traffic Citation Appeal Form

NOTE: Right of appeal is forfeited if not made within 14 days of issue of citation.

1. Fill out appeal form.

2. Your citation has already been charged to your account.

3. The Director of Campus Safety will send notification a week prior to hearings taking place. If there are scheduling conflicts, you must tell your contact person at least one day in advance of your appeal hearing. Otherwise, persons who do not show up for the hearing will automatically forfeit right of appeal.

4. The Director of Campus Safety will rule and send written notification.

5. If the case is decided in your favor, the Business Office will be notified in writing (by the Millsaps Campus Safety Department) and the traffic fine for this citation will be removed from your account. If the verdict is not in your favor, the charge stands. This is not a cash transaction, and no refunds are given.
