NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune is looking for girls under 18 in the New Orleans area to be part of an advisory group for its Southern Girls project, which is exploring what it means to be a girl growing up in Louisiana and elsewhere in the South. The advisory group will help give us insights on which stories to explore and what important messages girls want to share with the rest of their community. Being a member of the group would involve occasional meetings at our downtown New Orleans offices.
If you would be interested in joining us, please let us know by filling out the form below.
If you would like to contribute to this project—as a creator, advisor, or even just as a liaison to connecting with girls whose voices need to be heard, connect with us to learn more about how you can be involved.
Are you an academic, a journalist, artist, poet, playwright , or simply deeply interested in joining in an effort to be partners with us in the story-making? We want to hear from you.
