Please note the following:
- Our Sunday Hebrew School will take place at shelters at Morrisville Community Park for the fall months. For the winter semester, we hope to be able to move indoors, whether all together at the Discovery School, or, in smaller groups spread out at different locations. If indoor learning is still not a safe option, we may need to shift to virtual learning. (Important: We will allow parents to only pay for the first half of the year if the winter option does not work for your family)
- We are allowing families to register their children for Hebrew School and not yet pay any tuition until the final schedule is announced. As classes will be limited, we encourage you to register your child to secure your spot.
- We will have 2 special Hebrew School pre-holiday programs beginning September 13th. The core year will then begin after all the Jewish Holidays on October 18th.
- Our Sunday Hebrew School option includes access to all virtual learning including our zoom Hebrew Reading rooms.
- There is also the option of only signing up only for the virtual learning. We will finalize our virtual learning program and tuition upon seeing the the number of participants.
- The JCONNECT after-school program is a stand-alone program. You can sign up for it in addition to our Hebrew School, or, without attending Chabad of Cary Hebrew School. It will take place Tuesday afternoon beginning Sep 1st.

Hebrew School Hours

Sunday Morning 10:00 – 11:45 am

Each week, our 1:45 hour class consists of Tefila/prayer, a lesson in Jewish tradition/values, and Hebrew Reading. It is important to the success of the program that your child attends class each week and arrives on time. Thank You!

School is tentovely scheduled to begin with orientation on August 23rd. You will be receiving an email with the school calendar later this summer.

Information regarding your child’s curriculum this year will be sent shortly before the school year begins.
Hebrew School Tuition:

Sunday Program $660/Year*. There is also a $40 security fee per family

Sibling discount $50 off (1 sibling) and $100 (2 or more siblings)

Virtual Hebrew School Only: To be announced shortly

JCONNECT: $10/day for a Hebrew School Student. $15 for a non-Hebrew School student. (The month of September is free for Hebrew School Students

* The fee includes all books, supplies, and weekly snacks. Please note that there no fees like membership typical in in many Hebrew Schools.

We have tried to make our Hebrew School affordable for all. No child, however, will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please call Rabbi Yisroel if to discuss tuition

The Chabad of Cary Jewish Center is committed to providing wonderful and enriching programs to every Jew in Cary and surrounding areas, and our continued growth is made possible by the support we receive from friends like you.

Unlike traditional synagogues, the Cary Jewish Center does not ask for annual membership dues or require any building fund payments. Each Chabad Center is self-supporting and is funded individually from the charitable giving of individuals.
