IMPORTANT NOTICE

Blackmagic network storage system provides storage to all Video Lab systems on the 7^th floor.

The policy below governs the use of the BM Storage. In addition to the Network Storage policy, the use of Edit Share is also regulated by the Massachusetts College of Art’s Technology Acceptable Use Policy

The Video Lab does not perform back-ups of Edit Share volumes. We encourage all users to back up critical data.

User Policy

1. You may store video, audio, and other data on your designated storage in accordance with the Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s Technology Acceptable Use Policy.

2. BM Storage will be unavailable during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, updates, and repairs.

3. On-premise Edit share storage can only be accessed on the 7^thVideo lab during Lab hours and building hours.

4. Users will need to remove all data at the request of management. PLEASE NOTE: All Volumes. User accounts and Media are deleted at the end of the school year.

5. The Massachusetts College of Art and Design is not responsible for any loss of data or accidental erasure

6. Users will be removed from the Storage system if they are found in violation of this and the College’s acceptable use policy.
