The $100 Delegate Fee covers only Saturday night, as the conference will last from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. Please note that there is a pre-conference training session that will be open to all on Friday evening. Your delegation does not need to stay the night in order to attend this.
Should your delegation spend Friday night at the Westin Seattle, each delegate will need to pay and additional $50 to the $100 delegate fee.
We are committed to ensuring that delegates have the opportunity to attend PACMUN.
Should any of your delegates require financial aid, they will need to apply by filling out the financial application form and attaching it to their delegate registration form.
Although delegates will be provided with a link to the financial aid application form in delegate registration, please feel free to direct your delegate(s) to the form here if need be.
Financial Aid will be grant on a first come, first serve basis. All financial aid applications will be processed and responded to within 72 hours of submission.
*Note that the names you provide below do not need to be of the final list of students requiring financial aid.
Except for special circumstances, all delegates (including delegates without a delegation) will be housed in single-sex, quadruple rooms at The Westin Seattle. Please note that the registration fee covers only Saturday night. Should you require rooming Friday night, you will need to pay an additional $50 to your $105 delegate fee.
After registering their school's delegation, advisors will be contacted by the Secretariat and prompted to create and submit a final rooming list. This list will then be used by the Secretariat to organize the delegation into single-sex quadruple rooms. If the delegation is not divisible by four, delegates will have the option to upgrade to a triple room for an added price, or combine with members of another school.
*Note: For simplicity, all rooming arrangements and requests should be made through your advisor.
If possible, delegates are expected to register through their school.
If you are home-schooled, not coming with a delegation, or your school does not have a MUN delegation, you will automatically be placed in a room with either 3 other independents or an unfilled delegation room. If you have any special requests, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
PACMUN offers two methods of payment: group payment and individual payment.
Your delegation will pay together through your school.
Your delegates will be paying individually online after they complete their Delegate Registration Forms. Delegation and chaperone fees will be invoiced to the e-mail you indicate below.
We ask that you self-select a deadline for all your delegates to complete their delegate registration forms by. Invoices will be sent 24 hours after your self-selected deadline. You will be required to pay the invoice within 10 days after your selected deadline.
If your school requires administrative approval, please ensure that you are prepared beforehand to approve the full expenditure within the 10-day time frame once the invoice has been sent.
Once you have submitted this form, you will receive a response within 72 hours that will include an empty rooming assignment sheet. You will be required to submit the completed rooming assignment sheet by your selected Delegate Registration deadline, to email@example.com.
Note: If you fail to submit your completed rooming assignment by your selected registration deadline, and/or fail to pay your invoice within 10 days of your selected Delegate Registration deadline, all delegates will lose their committee assignments.
Note: You MUST have all of your delegates register online by your chosen deadline.
If your selected Delegate Registration deadline falls in Early Registration (8/29 - 9/16), you will be invoiced $100 per delegate, $200 per chaperone room (may have up to 4 occupants), and $200 Delegation fee for the single-occupancy advisor room.
If your selected Delegate Registration deadline falls in Regular Registration (9/17 - 11/4), you will be invoiced $105 per delegate and the aforementioned delegation and chaperone fees.
If your selected Delegate Registration deadline falls in Late Registration, ( 11/5- Conference Capacity), you will be invoiced $110 per delegate along with the aforementioned delegation and chaperone fees.
Please note that if one of your delegation's rooms does not fulfill quad-occupancy, we may insert an Independent Delegate (a delegate coming without a delegation) into that room. We will send you a notice via e-mail if this occurs, and if your delegates would prefer not to share their room with an Independent Delegate, please inform them that should they upgrade to anything less than quad-occupancy, they must cover the delegate fee for the empty spot(s).
All of the delegates that will attend PACMUN as part of your delegation must complete individual registration (and payment) by your selected deadline.
You will receive an invoice within 24 hours of your selected delegate registration deadline with the total cost for your chaperone room(s) and the $200 Delegation fee for the single-occupancy advisor room. You will be required to pay within 10 days of your selected delegate registration fee. If you fail to do so, all delegates will lose their committee assignments.
